Santa Apolonia

This half-length frontal representation of the martyred saint was painted in oil on wood by one of the most important artists of this period. The image is presented dressed in a costume of the eighteenth century and in his hands his attributes (a palm and a pincer with tooth). The frame was carved and gilded with stylized vegetables and rocket stones in the Rococo style.
