Mural, Facultad de Arquitectura

Located in the Hall of the Architecture Faculty Library, “Mural (Tríptico)”, 1956 by Victor Varela, is a mosaic made with industrial glass. Varela creates a wide surface with the white squares over a white background. The squares have one or two black lines that add rhythm to the composition. This piece is part of the collection “Synthesis of the Arts” at the University of Caracas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, designed by the architect Carlos Raul Villanueva.
